Before each piece came to life in our Autumn/Winter 2026 Collection, there were years of exploring, experimenting, making, and remaking.
It often began with something that caught Satomi’s eye and made her instinctively reach out her hand to touch it.
For Satomi, inspiration can begin with a texture, a surface, a piece of fabric, but also with the way a material transforms through the human hand, gradually taking on a new expression.

What happens when it is woven, knitted, layered, twisted, joined, or shifted? How can the same material reveal an entirely new texture, rhythm, and expression? And how might that transformation be expressed through metal?
In many ways, this collection has been over thirty years in the making. Satomi’s fascination with materials and the way they transform through the process of making can be traced back to her earliest creative work, long before she began setting diamonds and making jewelry.
